Angela Fluker and I are headed to Magnolia on Sunday for The Gathering at The Ranch with Wildwomanyogi from 12-5pm.

Update: I will not be attending the Pixie's Intent Summer Solstice Market tomorrow. 😞 I still encourage everyone to attend this market! This market has such great energy and hate to miss it.

This decision was not easy for me. Markets became the life blood for my business the past two years and I still want to participate in all of them, at least a part of me does. As I have prepped this week I have encountered so much resistance, but I felt like it was just my anxiety or fear. However it has persisted . The resistance hasn’t been super loud just a gnawing low level resistance that would not go away.

I spoke with a friend today and she suggested that maybe the resistance was about the fact that going to markets in general are remnants of the former path that I was on and maybe thats why it feels off. This hit me in the gut.

I have pivoted to what feels most aligned for me and the vision of what I want my offerings to look like. But my ego still wants to tell me if i don’t continue to try to be everything to everyone I will miss out. But the truth is that when i do things that are misaligned with my energy and vision I am always left with a feeling that I have not listened to my intuition and disappointed myself, again.

Long story, I know. I hope if you’re still reading this it helps you make decisions that feel aligned even if you have to disappoint people or your ego.

I am pivoting from markets. I am battling the ego and FOMO and stepping back from them for now. I am focusing on my teaching, community, and products. Products will be apothecary and metaphysically focused. They will be available on my website or in my little foyer shop. This will keep my energy focused on my classes and events.

Bad News: The new collection is taking longer than expected!

Good News: This set of plant hangers is so intentional and I am so excited to be able to share them with you!

My goal is for the new collection of Crystal Infused Plant Hangers to be released by 4/15 if not sooner!

In the meantime here are a couple of behind the scenes pictures of my process. Here are the steps I have been taking for each plant hanger:
1. Draw a card from my Herbcrafter's Tarot deck.
2. Reflect and meditate on the card. I look at all the symbolism in the card including not only the herb itself but all of it's correspondences.
3. From the correspondences I choose the crystals I want the piece to embody and that helps me to choose the colors for the piece.
4. Then I design the hanger with different knots that will embody the correspondences from the card. For example the spiral knot might be used to indicate air in the piece.
5. Once I have the design I write a mantra and sigil to go with the piece to keep in mind as I am creating. At this time I also create a playlist to play while I am creating.
6. I cut the cord and start creating this one of a kind piece of fiber art.

I have a few full size hangers created and I am so pleased with how they have turned out. I will give you some more updates in the coming days! Stay tuned!
