School is officially over for my little man, so now I can post what I made for his teacher and his bus driver. The pencil wind spinner and the tumbler keychain were for his teacher and the glow in the dark swinging ghost was for his bus driver. All 3 pieces I made were my kid's idea...this is what happens when he sits next to me while I'm scrolling through Pinterest lol

Most people know my grandfather and my uncle started the Lacey Moose Lodge 50 years ago and my father is a big part of that place today. For their 50th anniversary I decided to make them a Moose. I didn't tell my dad what I was doing, but I had my mom in cahoots with me because I needed the free drink chip 😅 anyway, I surprised my dad with it and then today he surprised them with it and now Manny the Moose lives happily inside the Lacey Lodge 💜

A quick little back story about making this...

The pattern that I used for this was not written the best and I had a helluva time trying to read through it. I only stuck with that pattern because it was named Manny the Moose (my uncle who was part founder) and it was published on my dad's birthday (11/22). I took that as a sign that it was ment to be.

Fun fact: I do more than crochet 🤭 granted it's been an easy 15 years since I've touched a sewing machine I'm sure I still know what I'm doing. Time to make some curtains cause I'm picky and have found nothing I like for my son's room.
