I haven’t been very active on here for the last month. My mom had a cardiac event that led to a new hospital stay recently, and it’s been pretty scary watching someone you love suffer. My mom is still in the hospital, but thankfully she’s doing better. I’m at her house now, sitting by the pool and thinking about all the things she’s taught me… one of them being how to cook. She always cooked. Almost every single night!

I remember being a teenager and walking in the house and asking, “Whatcha cookin’?” And she would say, “BURGER QUEEN!” 😂😂

I’d get SO mad. I hated homemade burgers at the time!! 😂 That and meatloaf lol

But man… I’d love one today. Funny how you grow up and realize some of the things you took for granted were actually some of the best things you had.

Anyways… I hope she gets better quickly. ❤️ I’ll get back to y’all soon, too!
