Still thinking about what they talk about after work 😂🐻❄️ The Merry Menagerie performers at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are unreal — the movements, the personality, the commitment… you completely forget there are two humans in there or maybe not, haha. One of my favorite underrated Christmas details at Walt Disney World. If you’re visiting during the holidays, slow down and watch them for a few minutes — it’s peak Animal Kingdom magic 🎄✨

Still thinking about this moment ✨🎄 I met Genie during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and honestly… I’ve never seen Genie doing meet and greets on a regular park day. Have you? That’s what made this feel extra special. I went solo, waited until after the last parade, and stopped by before heading to Jingle Cruise — and there was no line at all. Walk-up, relaxed, no rushing, just pure Disney magic. Moments like this are exactly why I love staying until the very end of the Christmas party. One thing I don’t think enough people realize: the character meet and greets stay open until the party officially ends. While a lot of guests head out early or rush to rides, this is when character waits are at their lowest and interactions feel more personal. It’s such an underrated Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party strategy. And because Genie isn’t someone you usually see meeting guests during normal Magic Kingdom days (at least I haven’t!), it made this late-night moment feel even more magical — especially as a solo Disney adult soaking it all in 🎄✨ If you’re planning Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, my biggest tip is this: Watch the last parade. Don’t leave right away. Use that final hour for characters. Sometimes the best Disney moments happen when everyone else thinks the night is over 💫

Being a Disney adult sometimes means getting side-eyed, quietly judged, or even asked to step aside at character meet and greets just because someone else has kids. I’m not cutting the line, I’m not rushing anyone, and I’m not doing this for attention. I’m waiting my turn like everyone else and enjoying a moment that genuinely matters to me. Not everyone grew up going to Disney, and for some of us, these moments are about joy, nostalgia, and healing an inner child we didn’t get to experience. Disney magic doesn’t have an age limit — it’s for anyone who believes in it. 🐭✨

They say Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a half-day park… but that’s only if you rush through it. If you slow down and actually stop for the magic, it becomes one of the most immersive parks at Walt Disney World 🤍 This live violin performance during the Merry Menagerie is one of those quiet Disney holiday moments people miss. Between the live musicians, the winter animal puppets, and the peaceful atmosphere around Discovery Island, Animal Kingdom during the holidays feels calm, intentional, and truly magical 🎻✨ Animal Kingdom isn’t just rides — it’s entertainment, storytelling, atmosphere, and moments that make you pause. Reason #1 why Disney’s Animal Kingdom is my favorite park 🦜💚 The Winged Encounters show at the front of the park is loud, bold, a little chaotic — and SO magical. Watching the macaws fly right over your head while they squawk like they own the place is pure Animal Kingdom energy. This park just hits different. I recently stayed at Wyndham Bonnet Creek and the shuttle ride was extremely entertaining. ➡️The shuttle runs sparingly, so I mostly took Uber, but did manage to catch it once! Totally worth the experience, haha. ➡️My coffee was confiscated and held at the front of the bus per the Driver’s rules. ➡️Free water was strapped in with caution tape and given out at the end of the ride. ➡️Music and dancing happened the entire ride. Have you stayed offsite? What did you think of transportation options if you did?
