Starting off the product highlights with a good ole fashioned "Midwest Standoff". Let's start with the scent itself. It is definitely one of the sweeter/floral scents in the collection.

"A sweet jasmine base sets the tone, while crisp white wine notes add a touch of vibrancy. Rich amber and smooth sandalwood round out the scent, creating a luxurious and well-balanced fragrance. Hello all! A fun and lengthy post ahead!

I have some BIG news for Sonny Side Candles! I'm excited to announce that, moving forward, Sonny Side Candles is going to look a bit different. The same name, the same scents (and plenty that are new), the same clean ingredients - but now with a midwestern twist!
We here in the Midwest have some unique terms and phrases that are quintessential to who we are as a region and I felt those needed to be highlighted and shared! "Ope", "Dontcha know", "Garage fridge" and "til the cows come home" are just a few terms and phrases in our vernacular that will each have their own label! 20 in total in the regular line. In addition to this new theme, I will be offering different sizes of candles as well. Wax melts and car diffusers are still available in their usual sizes, plus a fun

I have put a lot of thought, creativity and a dash of humor into each one and I hope you enjoy this change as much as I have enjoyed making it! If you have a scent that you have ordered in the past or had your eye on, chances are it's still here, but some have been replaced with brand new scents. Just ask me and I'll point you in the right direction!
As this transition takes place, be on the look out for more scents, gift bundles, new products and seasonal launches.

Did you know that candle making can create quite a bit of waste? It's unfortunate, but true. The wax left from tester candles, wick trimmings and paper towels to wipe out pour pitchers after each pour - just to name a few.
Well, in an attempt to produce as little waste as possible, I have decided to combine all of that "would be garbage" into fire starters. I know it's a little cold and snowy to think about a summer bonfire, but we are almost there!

Each fire starter is made up of scrap wax that is poured into a paper cupcake liner l, ripped up pieces of paper towels used to clean my work area, wick trimmings from candles and any sort of dried/dead flower.
Each starter is wicked with either a cotton or wood wick so all you need to do is pop it as is into a fire pit, light it, feed with kindling like you normally would and bam! Comes in a pack of 4 🔥
