Round 2 of Deepwood Cardigan test knits 🧶
Thank you again to everyone who tested for me. I really appreciate it.♥️

The Deepwood Cardigan knitting pattern is now updated. You can get it on Ravelry, my website and Etsy. This size-inclusive pattern (sizes XS-6X / 30 ½-64 ¾ in / 77.5 - 164.5 cm) was graciously tested by 15 test knitters and tech edited by M.F. Corwin.

Here are more details about the test knits:

Image 1: made size S, and used Ginger’s Hand Dyed G.O.A.T. DK weight yarn, a beautiful blend of alpaca, silk, and cashmere.

Image 2: .hobbies made size M with short sleeves, using an acrylic blend yarn - Patons North America Beehive Baby Sport (Solids & Marls).

Image 3: knitted size 2X using two strands of Mode at Alpaca Haze and Cotton Linen Wool, creating a captivating, textured garment.

Image 4: is still working on her cardigan, but even without sleeves, it already looks gorgeous! I just love the color.

Image 5: Curnynla on Ravelry made a second Deepwood Cardigan for her daughter in size M, using Luma Stonewash yarn.

Image 6: knitted the cardigan in size XXL, using Big Twist Relax yarn, a blend of cotton and acrylic. It fits so well!

Image 7: JakieBrown on Ravelry made her cardigan in size M, using a lovely yarn called Organic wool + Linen. The resulting fabric is so beautiful!

Image 8: is making size L, and still plans on adding buttons, but I think her cropped cardigan already looks gorgeous! She’s using Regia Premium Merino Yak 4-fädig / 4-Ply.

Which project is your favorite?
Let me know if you plan on making your own!

Test knitters wanted✨

West Village Blouse is a quick knit with a generous ease that requires only 492-861 yds of a silk-mohair blend yarn (about 2-3 50-gram skeins). Most of it is worked on large US size 13 (9 mm) circular knitting needles.

The pattern is worked top-down using a drop-shoulder construction. The body features short rows at the bottom, elongating the back. The sleeves are picked up at the armscye and gradually increased to a bell shape.

✨Chosen test knitters will receive a 25% discount that can be used to purchase the yarn in my shop, but they may use any yarn of their liking.

Finished chest circumference: 54 (57, 62.75, 65.5) [69.75, 74, 78.25] (81.75, 85.5, 89.75) in/ 137 (145, 159.5, 166.5) [177, 188, 199] (207.5, 217, 228) cm
23-24.75 in/58.5-63 cm positive ease (oversized fit)

Model is 5’6” / 168 cm tall and has a 32 in/81 cm bust. She’s wearing size M in the pictures.

Sometimes I almost forget about some of the knitting patterns I’ve published - this sock pattern has been out there for a while, and I usually resurface it in the spring because it features a very distinctive stitch pattern I’ve designed to capture the beauty of Lily of the Valley.

These pretty little flowers are just starting to bloom in my backyard. I just love their fragrance, they smell like childhood and freedom to me. Isn’t it fascinating how the same fragrance can mean so many different things to people?

🌸The knitting pattern is called Socks of the Valley, and you can find them in Ravelry and Etsy.

Now that I’ve sent this pattern to editing, I feel like I can finally share this picture and my wonderful experience visiting the back in March (thank you so much .co for coming with me and nerding out about every dress we saw!!). I went there to see the Art x Fashion exhibition, and I’m so glad I did. It was amazing. So much inspiration. I hope you enjoy some of the photos I took.

Currently lost in delicious silk mohair. 💫 It seems that every time I start to crave spring, I also have a very strong silk mohair craving.

This is a new blouse knitting pattern in progress. As usual, I’ve already frogged about three times to get closer to my vision.

The yarn is Dove by in a fascinating mauve colorway Down East.
It’s inspired by misty mornings and rugged cliffs of Acadia National Park in Maine. If you followed me for a while, you know that I have a special relationship with Maine. 💙
You can find and purchase the yarn as well as the Lykke indigo circular knitting needles on my website (link in bio).
