Hi Everybody,
My name is Lonell, and I have lived in Lakeside for the past 35 years.
YB Normal Designs is such a beautiful gift shop that already supports 30 local vendors and all of their amazing products. My goal is to continue supporting these wonderful vendors while also bringing in some new items that guys will think are really cool. I believe it’s important for everyone to feel excited to shop here, and I know the pieces my boyfriend, Mat, is creating are going to be incredible additions to the store. I truly think they will be amazing sellers.
I love supporting local people and small businesses here in Lakeside, and I’m so excited to continue building on what makes this shop so special. Birdie has done an amazing job creating YB Normal Designs and turning it into what it is today. She has poured so much heart into this business, and while I know she will be greatly missed, I feel very honored to continue something that means so much to her.

We found a buyer for our shop and are currently in escrow. It looks like things will be finalized sometime in the middle of June.
I will continue to help with the transition for 1-2 months, as needed.

These handmade rugs measure 20" x 30" and are very easy to care for. Wash and dry on normal cycle. Use them in front of your bathtub or shower, in front of your kitchen sink, or as an adorable throw rug in front of your bed.
