After more than a year of work, these 100+ year old shutters are finally complete and hanging on their new home.

When our client and friend Joyce found these shutters, she envisioned them as part of her beautifully restored farmhouse. What followed was countless hours of hand scraping, stripping, repairs, priming, painting, and fitting custom made hinges to bring them back to life.

Seeing them installed and knowing they'll be appreciated for years to come makes every hour worth it.

There’s something special about bringing new life to pieces that already hold so many memories.

We recently had the opportunity to paint two beautiful pieces for friends a vintage Victrola record player that has been in their family for years, along with a matching side table. Finished in a black distressed style, the transformation turned out absolutely stunning.

Seeing these pieces fit so naturally into their beautiful home and decor made this project even more meaningful. We love helping bring ideas to life while preserving the character and history behind each piece. 🖤

Chris after a full time job and overtime:
“Let me go spray 20 antique shutters real quick.”
I don’t know where she gets the energy, but I do know this
that shop isn’t just work to her, it’s something she genuinely loves.
And it shows in every piece.
