I came across this project again the other day and was instantly reminded what a transformation it was. This Poconos home had all the right pieces, but the spaces hadn’t quite been brought to life yet.

Creating a cohesive design plan for the entire home was incredibly rewarding, and this room in particular was such a fun one to reimagine. What was once a long, mostly empty space used primarily for corn hole 😊 became a warm, layered gathering place designed for connection, conversation, and taking in the beautiful lake views beyond.

The right furnishings, textures, lighting, and layout can completely change how a home feels — and how people live in it. If your spaces feel unfinished, underused, or just not quite “you,” I’d love to help you transform them into rooms you truly enjoy living in. ✨

I love finding and shopping at hidden gem antique stores. This one is steps away from our beach condo in Rehoboth. Arnold (the proprietor) changes his inventory often which is great for designers, and most wonderful to me, his prices are amazing! if you in the area you gotta go!

Amazing antique barn in Asheville NC, the Antique To***co Barn. The hurricane in September 2024 decimated this place and all the antiques were a swirling sad mess. We are so happy that it had been resurrected and is now filled to the rafters with new fabulous treasures. 🕯🕯🕯🕯

In order to get the large shower glass up to the wetroom we will have to remove a portion of the railing. Not an easy thing to do without breaking the balusters. Elaine came up with an idea that will be a whole lot easier, remove the whole section handrail, balusters and base molding, oh so carefully! 😜

I stopped by the Chambersburg project this week to check on progress, check paint colors, mark hardware placement and generally interrupt Jaimie’s day. 😜 always fun, always fulfilling. The guys are doing an amazing job, I can’t wait to share the final project. drybarideas

This morning I'm reflecting on what is my "bliss"...AND I have the answer. Over the course of the last few days I've met with clients in my Interior Design business who have loved my ideas and suggestions for their spaces. They have left the meetings excited and more importantly, relaxed. They leave knowing that I "got them", and I have "got this". That is my bliss. I'd love to know other peoples bliss...what's your bliss?
