trial and error has never been more fun

i saw this quote last week on IG and it stuck with me. as a creative entrepreneur, it’s hard to carve out time to do something that is 1) not profitable (yet) and 2) new and uses the very limited extra time i have. but it’s a hill that i’ll die on every time: you have to make space to try new things, especially if your craft has become your business.

i’ve been having the TIME of my LIFE this week messing around with some dye and bare yarn. you might see some H&Y branded yarn hitting the interwebs some day soon, but for now i am relishing in the creative process 🫶🏻

well friends this is it.

my last update to my Etsy shop.

but don’t worry, i’m not going anywhere…actually, i am! Hook & Yarn Co. is finally moving to its own website this spring ✨

this is likely the last time i’ll update my etsy for a loooooong time. i’m taking the next short season to get my website fine tuned and ready for launch day (tbd). i am SO excited for this transition, i’ve been working with an incredible designer and i have so many new things planned for you.

my etsy shop will probably house a few pieces here and there, but the bulk of my business is moving into the next chapter. thanks for all the love on etsy, can’t wait to see you on my own little site 🫶🏻
