It was a tough week without *actually* quilting 😅
Fear not, I did make 12 quilt blocks for funsies 😉

Just a normal amount of poly fill for a normal amount of sewing. 😂

20 pounds.
One sewing room.
Absolutely no regrets.

I was born a teacher. Truly. Leading Girl Scouts and Special Olympics before I was 12. I was a teacher first. Then I became a mom, and teaching, in the traditional classroom sense, took a pause for… well. 9 years. Meanwhile, sewing went from a hobby I loved to a part of the life I was building and the tradition and artisan craft I want to share with and pass on to our children.

I never imagined my life without teaching. I just didn’t know what finding my way back to it would look like.

So I created this next chapter for myself.

A chapter where I get to be a mom and a teacher, make things with my hands, build a business that feels like me, and share it all with my kids growing up alongside it.

It’s not the life I pictured exactly. It’s better in the way that it feels like mine. 🤍

If you’re here with a sewing machine waiting in the closet, a hobby you’ve been putting off, or a dream that’s been waiting for the right season… I’m so glad you’re here.

Let’s learn, make, and figure things out together. And if learning to sew has been on your list for years, I’m here to help you finally get started. 🧵

Filming tutorials has been new and fun for me here - not the least of important is putting on makeup and an outfit for each project 🤭
