I absolutely love when watercolor does its own thing. When the colors bleed, edges sotten, and things don’t go quite as planned.
Sometimes, those little “mistakes” turn into my favorite parts of a painting.
That’s the beauty of painting loose and expressive...learning to let go and see where the colors take you.
Do you embrace those happy accidents or try to fix them?

Every painting you bring home, class you take, and month you spend in my art club supports this little business of mine. I know you have choices, and I don’t take it lightly that you choose me. Thank you for making room for my art in your life.

Here’s a clip from my Friday TikTok live session: I started this painting during my Zoom class on Monday, teaching my members how to blend colors on paper. It was about to be trashed, but then I added more colors, mixed media, and turned it into a treasure! Moral of the story: Don’t trash it!

One of my favorite things about teaching live is showing the whole process...including the awkward middle stages that usually never make it to social media.
This was from my last night’s Art Club class. We paint together live, and members also get access to the recordings and past classes.
If you want to loosen up your watercolor style and actually paint along with me, come join us. Link is in my bio.

In October, we’re painting Woodland Mushrooms inside Bindi’s Art Club...loose, expressive, a little moody, and absolutely no perfect drawing required.

We’ll let the watercolor flow, build texture, add playful marks, and create mushrooms that feel organic instead of overly detailed.

No sketching
Loose watercolor
Mixed-media texture + marks
Join me in the club for our October Woodland Mushrooms class.
