AWARENESS POST!! This is a bad day for all. We received a call from a contractor today that our mirror had fallen off the wall. If you look closely you can see that the backsplash underneath the mirror had been removed. We use Palmer Mirror Mastic to secure our mirrors to the wall. However the glue for the mirror does not support the weight of the mirror. The weight of the mirror is held up by the material that is mechanically fastened to the wall, such as the backsplash that was removed without our knowledge. Fortunately nobody was injured due to this mistake that could've easily been avoided. All it takes is one phone call requesting that we remove the mirrors before they take away the material that is holding them in the air. When in doubt please call a professional so mishaps such as this one can be avoided.
