My reach has dropped over 80% in just a few months, which means Facebook is showing my posts to only a tiny fraction of the people who follow me.(like tiny fraction stupid algorithm)

And to be fair, this was a very nice and apologetic email. I genuinely appreciate that!!
BUT...

→ Steal from macrame artists for years.
→ build a massive page using THEIR work.
→ profit $$ off of others hard work.
→ get suspended for years of copyright infringement when you knew it was illegal and had absolutely no empathy or remorse.
→ ask the same artists you stole from to retract their reports so you can have your page and $$ back.

You can't really apologize your way out of the consequences once they finally catch up with you.

Pages like this have caused SO much heartache in the macrame community. They don't just steal a photo. They take the attention, followers, traffic, $$ and potential customers that should have gone to the small business whose work is IN that photo. 😔

Meanwhile, we're the ones spending our time finding our stolen work and filing reports just to protect what we created. (Ive had to report them many times for them taking my photos and pretending they were theirs along with many of my macrame friends)

So while I appreciate the apology and truly hope they mean it when they say they'll change their practices...

Copyright infringement is illegal. They knew it. They continued doing it for years. They profited $$ off of our work...

I won't be retracting my reports. ❤️

And I got to finish my true crime documentary i started yesterday just in time . ("Still missing Morgan" is amazing!)

Nothing better than a morning of dropping off the kids at school, making some coffee (with boba!), picking out beautiful colors and making macrame while watching true crime.

Now its time to eat... i totally forgot about breakfast and lunch 🤣 dang hyperfocus always gets me in trouble with my body lol
