Abalone beads aren’t usually round, for obvious reasons. So I used crushed shell in resin.

Clear molds are a must with UV resin. These cure in seconds. The longest part is packing and leveling the mold.

I like them, but for the next attempt I’m going to try less shell to let more light pass through the bead.

Happy Labor Day 😆

I made this with my Halloween paper Craft Kit. Embossed paper is an easy and quick way to add texture and interest to a scene without making it too hectic.

The skeleton is made with a metal die, and is one of many designs included in the kits.
