Arch and Gable Home Design

Warm wood, soft sage, and a little bit of drama. 🌿

This kitchen pairs natural hickory base cabinets with sage-green uppers that run to the ceiling, then lets the details do the talking: a black-and-gold granite with movement for days, a maple butcher-block island built for real cooking, and a custom arched hood framing a mosaic spice niche right where you need it.

The bay window keeps the sink wall bright, and the layout now opens straight through to the sunroom — so the kitchen finally feels like the heart of the house.

New addition, big personality. 🏡✨

This one started as a Studio 804 (KU School of Architecture) student-built house — and we added a freestanding ADU/art studio out back, complete with its own Soake pool and deck. It works as a working art studio and guest suite today, but the layout is easy to adapt: home office, rental unit, in-law suite, whatever life calls for next.

Corrugated metal siding outside, warm color and texture inside — skylit sleeping loft, a full bath, a working studio with sink and storage, and a pool deck made for Lawrence evenings.

Dropping off the cabinet install drawings to 905 Conn as this garage/ADU is about to wrap up. This 1 bedroom ADU turned out very roomy and bright. Can’t wait to see the tiny kitchen complete.

Another dreamy outdoor space includes grilling deck and screened porch. This home has beautiful established landscaping and we managed to nestle this right down it. When it’s done it will look like it’s always been there.
