Grizzard Homes and Buildings hired us to remove and replace existing strip red oak, ceramic tile, and carpet. We installed , stained , and finished new 6" wide solid character-grade White Oak. In addition, we retrofit and finished white oak tread overlays and installed and finished flush vents. Todd and Charles came up with a really great custom color. We will apply the final coat on Tuesday. Looking forward to sharing pictures of the finished product. Many thanks to Grizzard Homes for trusting us with another great project!

Mickey and Karen Bill asked us to update their ambered Maple hardwood floors. The Bills moved their belongings and Todd and Charles went to work stripping the old finish, staining and coating the floor.We are proud to partner with Loba, the best waterborne hardwood floor finish company in the world. Grizzard Homes and Buildings hired our team to integrate new solid Oak flooring with
existing flooring in a garage conversion to a den and the addition of a master closet. After weaving the new rooms into the existing beveled prefinished solid wood floor and repairing areas where walls were removed, we sanded and finished both the new and existing floors to achieve a uniform appearance.

In a Jackson, NC cabin, we restored a heart pine floor, removing old wax, finish and resin. Todd mixed dye into the finish coats to match the new growth heart pine flooring added during a recent kitchen renovation to the existing antique pine. Todd and Charles worked long days this week to maintain our schedule. They are dedicated to excellence, and it is evident. Happy Birthday, Todd.

We had the privilege of refinishing the floors in an antebellum house in Kenbridge, Virginia; Todd and Charles removed wax, resin, and grime to reveal stunning Antique Heart Pine. The Towles opted for Loba Invisible Finish, a two-component waterborne finish that highlights the natural beauty of the raw wood as it dries. This is the first time we have used this finish on a Heart Pine floor, and the result is fantastic.

Please don’t replace your solid hardwood floors!They can be refinished with a color change 7 or 8 times. If you get bored with the color or styles change, your floor can change with the times. Solid hardwood floor was woven into existing floors and the look changed dramatically with a refinish and restain. Coated with a state of the art two component waterborne finish, these floors are ready to hold up to lake living for decades.
Todd, Charles and Beck Miller laced in new six sided sealed hardwood in the kitchen and the master bathroom.after which they sanded all of the floors to match. The 6 sided sealed hardwood is impervious to topical water much like luxury vinyl.
