Our team out in Pennsylvania with our friends at Lackawanna Trail Schools bringing a new wireless system online. Shout out to SMG’s own Steve “the other Steve” Nieves!

More than just the usual electronic things you would expect from a company like ours, one of our unique capabilities is custom AV cabinetry. Here is a custom AV desk built by our own Russ Uhler, finished to match the church’s furnishings, and designed to go with brand new audio and video systems we are finishing up this week!

Some of our custom shop work this week- acoustical treatments in a school gym, and acoustical panels and custom organ speaker grilles built to match the panels in a church. We have hung literally thousands of acoustical panels in our time, and have the crew, processes and procedures, skills, and tools to do them right!

We have a couple different unique projects finishing this week. A Danley Sound Labs system with a big main center speaker 40 feet in the air, and then the very smallest speakers we install, but with huge output far greater than their size would indicate: K-Array ultra compacts.

The tightly focused Danleys are chosen for acoustical reasons to avoid interaction with the adjacent ceiling, and the K-Arrays for aesthetics: to get sound where we need it, but with virtually no visual impact in a beautifully finished church.

Our team is equally adept at very detailed finish work AND performing difficult rigging safely high in the air. We don’t just use one tool for every job. We design carefully to align solutions with each project’s environments and priorities for exceptional outcomes.
