Some of our custom shop work this week- acoustical treatments in a school gym, and acoustical panels and custom organ speaker grilles built to match the panels in a church. We have a couple different unique projects finishing this week. A Danley Sound Labs system with a big main center speaker 40 feet in the air, and then the very smallest speakers we install, but with huge output far greater than their size would indicate: K-Array ultra compacts. 

The tightly focused Danleys are chosen for acoustical reasons to avoid interaction with the adjacent ceiling, and the K-Arrays for aesthetics: to get sound where we need it, but with virtually no visual impact in a beautifully finished church.

Our team is equally adept at very detailed finish work AND performing difficult rigging safely high in the air. We don’t just use one tool for every job. We design carefully to align solutions with each project’s environments and priorities for exceptional outcomes.

Here’s a unique project! Our client wanted a full set of organ speakers above the front door in the hallway for house concerts. We ran entirely hidden premise wiring through finished ceilings and walls, six speakers and two subwoofers, and eight channel digital amplifier with DSP, and integration, voicing, and balancing for the space. although the installation team is shaking their heads at what we’ve gotten into, our company founder has a thing for pipe organs, and that’s why we’re here!

Another new week, another new video wall, this one at a campus of Centerpoint Church in Bay Shore, Long Island. This wall is replacing a center projector, and we also replaced former side projectors with new 100” displays.

This is a familiar building for us. It’s hard to believe that 10 years have passed since we did the original installation here. But it’s an example of our long-standing relationships with many of our customers.

It’s a big couple months for new video walls! Here’s the first of five OHR LED video wall projects that are going in the next couple months- this one at Reach Church in White Plains, NY. 48 cabinets, 288 LED modules, and an impressive 2,359,296 individual LED pixels!

Video walls are kind of like big legos in the modular way they go together, but the precision of assembly and layout, necessary structural supports, wiring, and our talented and experienced project team that has done this many, many times are what makes all the difference!
