10% shrinkage on an 18.5” platter is 16.65” However, the water content that made this clay so nice and soft may change that percentage a bit. I’ll have to wait and see. Either way, it will add some nice height variation to my winter show set up, (it will be on a plate stand) hopefully its comes out pretty!!
