Do you garden? It has been in the 70’s and 80’s here in Louisiana, and I am so ready!
I started my tomato seedlings indoors in my Aerogarden in December, and they have outgrown it! Today was the first transplant day, and I moved them into 6” pots with potting mix. They will go into the ground Easter weekend.
I got the seeds started today for bell peppers, cowhorn cayennes, zucchini, and cucumbers.
Most exciting of all? I picked up Black Copper Marans hatching eggs in Lafayette yesterday, and they will go into the incubator tonight. In 3 weeks, we will have baby chicks! Woohoo! I LOVE this time of year!!!
PS: If you have any tips for moving plants from hydroponic growing to soil, please share. I lost my first whole batch of 30 last year and had to start over. That put me a few weeks behind, growth-wise.

I feel like age 40 was the beginning of my personal journey. My kids were grown, my responsibilities were somewhat lowered, and I started valuing my own opinion as much as, or more than that of others.

50 was full of even more personal growth, and I am so excited to move into the freedom of my 60’s this year. 60 was a goal that I set for stopping worrying so much about my physical appearance. I may finally (after 48 years) allow myself to go out without makeup. If I gain a few pounds, so be it. I just want to enjoy the time that I have left. -and I love my gray hair…I have zero patience for sitting in a salon to get it colored…and I have earned every wrinkle!

How do you feel about aging?

Women get more beautiful as they grow older. Not less.
Female youth is only prized in modern culture because it doesn't represent as much of a threat spiritually to anyone who is frightened of divine feminine power.

As women grow and mature, they call in stronger forces of sacred feminine wisdom. They vibrate with the creative power of their stories.

They are more of a force to be reckoned with.
They see more, know more, feel more. They put up with a lot less bu****it.

When women are trained into thinking there is something fundamentally wrong with getting older, and are coerced into spending money, energy and power investing in 'slowing the signs of ageing', an enormous vault of divine love is lost.

Just think what would happen if all the women in the world started loving themselves even more with every year that passed.

Perhaps a total revolution would occur.

This is why I love to paint backgrounds when I am in a rut. it gets rid of the white slate, and sometimes the colors are all of the inspiration I need to get started.
