Traditional mechanical clocks recall our heritage and have found renewed interest in this digital age. All clocks are crafted from sustainable, native hardwoods predominately Cherry, Tiger Maple and Birdseye Maple. It's been a hectic week, as always when we are preparing to go to a show. We limit the number of shows to only the best. Mike left this morning and will set up tomorrow. Preview is Friday evening-6:00-9:00. We had a very good show last year in Valley Forge, so hope this year is good also!

In the mid 90's we exported our furniture, which included our clocks, to Germany. The company that we dealt with re-marketed our furniture to many of the small specialty shops in Europe, predominately in Germany. This weekend we received a very special e-mail from a couple who purchased an Enfield Bench, 4 Enfield Chairs, and dining table 13 years ago in Germany, and are now interested in a clock. They found us on the internet as a result of our signature under the Bench seat!

I hope everyone had a very special Thanksgiving!! We had 8-9" of snow the day before Thanksgiving- but with the warm weather we have had in Vermont-it is all gone!

Several people on Isle La Motte have reported seeing a moose on the island. We took Bear for a walk in the dark last night, so we were on moose alert!

What is in store for us this winter? We have had a flood in the spring, a drought all summer, no vibrant fall colors early in October, but much later as a result of the dry summer , and now we wait for winter! We have not had any snow yet in Isle La Motte! Will keep you posted!!

Michael will be at the Stowe Fall Foliage show this weekend, Oct 8 and 9th with a selection of our clocks and furniture. This is an outdoor show with approximately 200 juried exhibitors. The show started today and Mike was busy all day! The Vermont weather will be great and the huge white Camelot Tents are complimented by the beautiful Vermont Fall Foliage.
