I tore out this old worn out sliding door, repaired the walls and floor around the door. I installed the new sliding door, paneling and trim. I also swapped out a couple of exterior lights. They will finish the painting to match the existing and another project is in the books.

An anniversary present I made for my wife. It is curly maple with a walnut frame, laser engraved and braided cord cross.

Home improvement project

Phase 1: Built a wall in a garage for a customer. Insulated it, put paneling and trim up, installed a single door and 6 outlets.
Phase 2: opened the wall between the new room and dining room, installed a French door, had to relocate 2 plugs and other wires, changed the ac vent, added a plug, installed 2 ceiling fans/ lights and a light switch, relocated another light built a step, finished the flooring in the new door and wrapped the new step with the flooring, trimmed the door and reinstalled the trim that had to be temporarily removed.

They are doing the painting so for my part, it is done.

Whew!!!

Rest tomorrow and hopefully heal a bit so I won’t be as sore. Then work at the church Thursday and Friday and to the next project next week.
