I’m Baaaack!! (Not in the eerie Poltergeist-y type of way, but in a happy SpongeBob kinda way!! 😉😅)

Friends, I’ve been M.I.A. for about 6 months for many reasons….illness, busyness, getting old….do I need to add any more reasons?! 😅

I’m ready to ramp up The Rusty Coop again for the foreseeable future and culminating in our 4th Annual Christmas Market in late November or early December! **Details about vendors and dates coming your way soon!

I’m super happy to be a part of Deja-Brew Coffee Shack and BritTeas in town on the square! 💕🤗 It has been an absolute joy working with Lindsey and Britney!

The Rusty Coop has a small display inside their shop and I have recently added fall candles (because this 100 degree + 119% humidity thing isn’t working for me! 🥵) and I’ve also added some antique and vintage finds for your shopping pleasure!! 🍁🍂 (You’re welcome! I hope buying fall candles makes your internal body temperature fall immediately by at least 10 degrees!)

Please come visit us and then walk down the street to Fourth Street Mercantile or to The Dowdy House to peruse their collection while you are in town!

Who knew that a donkey could capture your heart? I sure wasn't expecting this ornery, spunky little donkey I purchased for $35 from a guy who rescued donkeys to become one of my favorite farm animals. Everyone at the auction barn told me not to get donkeys, but I actually purchased two donkeys from him, Gypsy and Fiona, and then Gypsy had an unexpected foal, Nellie, about seven months after I purchased her....

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our Christmas Market today! ❤️We had a great day, but tomorrow’s weather looks even more fantastic for shopping from local vendors, munching on yummy baked snacks, and sipping tasty coffee! Come shop with your family and friends at our 3rd Annual Christmas Market from 10-4!! ❤️🎅🏻🎄

**No Dogs Allowed at Green Acres. We are a working farm with guardian dogs. ❌🐕‍🦺❌

Come see us at the 3rd Annual Christmas Market at Green Acres! ❤️🎅🏻🎄 It starts two weeks from today and will be open on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 10-5 & Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 10-4!!

**We will be closing a bit early on Saturday so you have plenty of time to attend Lexington on the Square!Note: They added additional hours for the vendors on the square so you have more time to shop! ❤️🤗
