We had the honor of creating a truck full of wrapped market bouquets for this year’s Ronald McDonald House Charities Lexington event!

October doesn’t mean the end of beautiful flowers. It is actually one of our favorite times to design, when the light softens, the air cools, and the colors deepen into rich, moody tones. This is the season where texture and contrast take center stage, letting every bloom tell its own story.

This arrangement is full of that autumn energy, where dark leaves and jewel tones meet unexpected bursts of warmth. Almost every flower came straight from our farm, including celosia, pumpkins on a stick, hydrangea, dahlias, roses, Magic Mountain basil, and mahogany splendor. The only guest appearance is a single pincushion protea that ties it all together.

We love playing with color and texture this time of year, creating designs that feel cozy and full of life, yet a little mysterious. It is proof that October flowers can still be vibrant and full of passion, reflecting the changing beauty of the season.

So if you are dreaming of something a little spooky, a little romantic, and completely seasonal, this is the moment to let your florals glow from the inside out.

Join us this Saturday, October 11th, from 11 AM–6 PM for our biggest event of the year! With over 70 arts and crafts vendors, you’ll find just about anything you could want or need. Come by, shop around, grab some lunch, and enjoy a cold beer while you’re here!

A few weeks ago we built something big for our little farm. Our new hoop house is finally standing tall and it feels like a dream taking shape right here in the field.

We could not have done it without the crew from Nifty Hoops, Jared and Tyler, who brought their skill and patience to every step of the build. And to our friends and family who showed up to lend a hand, we are beyond grateful. Melanie, Garrett, our daughter Delaney and our long time friends Tina & Shaun who all pitched in, pulling plastic, holding ladders, taking photos and keeping spirits high when the sun was hot and the work felt endless.

It’s moments like this that remind us how lucky we are to have people we can count on. Every hand that helped means the world to our small farm. This space will soon be filled with rows of flowers and the promise of another growing season, but right now it’s filled with gratitude.

Here’s to community, hard work, and the people who make big dreams possible one pull at a time.

We’re thrilled to be back outside with an incredible lineup of vendors, and the weather could not be better. Bring the family, gather your friends, sip, stroll, and shop your way through the evening.

Parking may be a little topsy-turvy with our lot in flux, but don’t let that stop you. There’s plenty of street and side-lot parking behind neighboring businesses.

Leaning into the beauty of asymmetry for this month’s FlowerMore challenge. This design was built on a frog and Holly Chapple pillow, giving me the structure to let each bloom shine in its own way. Roses, dahlias, sunflowers, marigolds, celosia, and zinnias bring the late-summer color palette to life, while mahogany splendor and cinnamon basil add depth and drama. Loving the way this one feels abundant, playful, and just a little wild.
