The Galvin's on Main Project is just about wrapped up. Pillar 3 designed this new facade and signage for them, and managed the project construction. We worked with Spectrum Contracting to deliver a great end result for our wonderful clients. Pics of the finished project to follow in the spring.

This is one of those mind opening books. Reading it caused me to think about world differently.
It presents the problem of mounting waste and diminishing resources in a non dramatic way, and proposes design focused solutions as an alternative approach to making our products and packaging.
We really can achieve a circular loop with the lifecycle of our material goods - we have a lot of the technology, and we will develop more. And with 8 billion people on the planet, we need to! We need to focus on logistics, creating user friendly systems, and education. If more people understood, and felt they could implement, then I know they would get behind this idea.
Who doesn't like the idea of reducing the size of landfills, and conserving our finite resources?
