The “X” braces attached and screw holes plugged. A couple last coats of paint and the legs for the table and bench will be done.

It’s time for six walnut boards to become one. Otherwise known as table top glue up time.

Happy feet glued & clamped. The farmhouse table base is almost ready for paint!

The farmhouse table legs are milled down to final size and marked up to cut the profiles prior to assembling them. Clamping the two pieces together before drawing the profiles with a compass ensures they match. Then a sliding bevel makes quick work of the angled cuts.
