Wondering how to get your hands on some backyard blooms? Here’s the scoop! 💐

I work full-time until 4 PM M-F, so flower farming happens before and after my full-time job. I harvest in the evenings (and some mornings) and make orders fresh, based on what’s blooming in the garden. 🌿

💐 ORDERING OPTIONS

🌸 $15 Market Bouquet�These bouquets are what you can find at the Farmer’s Market and the Flower Stand. A smaller, seasonal bouquet featuring what’s looking fabulous in the garden that week. Perfect for a pop of flowers for your kitchen table, a friend, or just because!

🌷 $20 Signature Bouquet�A larger, fuller bouquet with more blooms, variety and those extra-special flowers that make it feel a little more luxurious.

🌻$15 Mini Arrangement
Garden-grown flowers arranged in a pint sized jar wrapped in burlap (You’ll often see these at the markets or at the flower stand)

🌿 $25 Arrangements�Garden-grown flowers arranged in a larger jar or container, ready to brighten someone’s day (including your own 😉).

📱 HOW TO ORDER
✨ Send me a message via Facebook or Instagram at least 24 hours before pickup (more time is appreciated though 😉)�✨ Call or text 419-234-7344�✨ Watch for weekend announcements when the flower stand is stocked�✨ Catch me occasionally at the Lima Farmers Market

Because these flowers are grown right here in my backyard, the selection changes constantly. What’s available depends on what Mother Nature decides to bloom! 🌸

No big flower shop. No warehouse full of imported blooms. Just garden-grown flowers, harvested fresh and made with love right here in Lima, Ohio. 🌿💐

Good morning flower friends! 🌸 We are back from vacation and I wanted to give a little weekend (8/28-8/30) update.

Unfortunately, I am unable to take additional bouquet orders for pickup this weekend and the flower stand will NOT be open this weekend while I’m busy filling summer subscriptions and a couple of larger flower orders. 💐 Also, the Lima Farmer’s Market will be closed this weekend due to the fair.

Thank you so much for keeping me busy and supporting my flower farm. I’ll be sure to keep you updated on when I re-open bouquet orders the when stand will be stocked again! 🌿💗

Last year I saved seeds from some of my favorite zinnias, not really knowing exactly what colors would show up this year. I decided to plant them with my last succession of zinnias and let me tell you… they did NOT disappoint! 😍 I came back from vacation to find that these little beauties have bloomed into the funnest shades of pink! 💕🌸

There’s something extra special about growing flowers from seeds I saved myself. You plant them, wait (and wait 😂), and then get these little surprises that are completely their own. 💗

Good morning! I just wanted to let everyone know that Backyard Blossoms & Blooms will be taking a much needed break from August 19th through August 26th 😊

It’s been a busy summer (no complaints here 😉), and I am looking forward to taking a few days to slow down, recharge, and enjoy some time away.

There’s just something extra special about dahlias. 😍 Their colors, shapes, and layers make them such a beautiful focal flower, and I absolutely love adding them to my late summer and fall bouquets!

One little thing to know about dahlias is that their vase life is a bit shorter than some of my other favorites, like zinnias and lisianthus. While zinnias and lisianthus can keep looking beautiful for quite a while, dahlias are a little more delicate and may not last quite as long.

But honestly? I think they’re worth it. 💕 There’s nothing quite like bringing a freshly cut dahlia from the garden into your home!

🌧️ A little change of plans this weekend! 🌧️

Due to the recent storms and the damage they’ve caused, I unfortunately won’t be able to attend the farmer’s market this weekend.

BUT… The good news is that I will have a limited number of bouquets and arrangements available at the flower stand this Saturday from 9-2pm 💐

If you were planning on getting your flower fix this weekend, be sure to stop by early… Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
