Wait… you put the FOREGROUND on first?! 👀🎨

Gel plate printing is one of those techniques where the best part is figuring out what happens next.

Start with your foreground. Let it dry. Add another element. Let it dry. Then roll on your background and pull the print to reveal all those layers. 😍

Or switch it up completely—build the background first, add stencils, lift paint, or give it a little “kiss” with your paper to create unexpected texture.

That’s the fun of it: there’s more than one way to make something amazing.

Come curious. Get a little messy. We’ll figure out the rest together. ❤️

💌Some things deserve more than a text.

A handmade card says something a text never quite can:
I thought about you.
I chose this for you.
I spent my time making something just for you.
Maybe the cut is a little crooked. Maybe there's adhesive where adhesive definitely shouldn't be. Maybe it took three hours and approximately 37 tiny pieces of paper. 😂
That's what makes it special.
In a world of instant messages, there's still something pretty wonderful about opening the mailbox and finding something made by someone who cares.
Because made by you means more. 💌
And with World Card Making Day coming up this Saturday, October 3, we're celebrating the cards—and especially the makers behind them—right here at Makerz Haven.

Tag a card maker who has made your day with something handmade. 💌👇

✨ Wait… Glimmer got an upgrade?! 👀

Okay, foil people… Glimmer II is HERE at Makerz Haven! ✨
Spellbinders took everything we loved about the original Glimmer Hot Foil System and made it smarter, simpler and a whole lot less cluttered.

✨ No separate docking station
🔔 Audible beep when it’s ready
🧲 Magnetic charging cable
🔥 Improved edge-to-edge heating for smooth, consistent foil

Basically: less fuss. More foil. More time making pretty things.
And because some things really do need to be seen in person, come by Makerz Haven and check out the new Glimmer II for yourself. Consider this your permission to play. 😉

Are you already a Glimmer fan—or would Glimmer II be your first adventure into hot foiling? Tell us below! 👇✨

Okay, paper people… have you seen what the NEW Glimmer 2 can do? 👀✨

Things are getting a little foiled around the Haven. ✨

The new Spellbinders Glimmer 2 has officially landed at Makerz Haven, and naturally… we had to start playing. 😏

Consider this reel your little sneak peek, because tomorrow we’re showing you what this beauty can actually do.

Shiny foil. Gorgeous details. That ridiculously satisfying reveal when you pull the foil away. 🤌✨

And yes—the Glimmer 2 is here in store, because some craft supplies simply need to be seen, touched and played with in person.

Come curious. We’ll figure out the rest together.

Save this reel + follow along—the Glimmer 2 demo drops TOMORROW. ✨
Then stop into Makerz Haven and see it in person!

🎅🚨 ATTENTION CARD MAKERS: Christmas is 106 days away.
So naturally… we should panic and make something adorable. 😂✂️

🎄 DEAL US IN, CARD MAKERS.

Christmas is officially 106 days away, which sounds like plenty of time…

…until you remember you’re a paper crafter. 😂

Because we’re not just buying Christmas cards.

Ohhhh no.

We’re choosing paper.
Coordinating cardstock.
Adding ephemera.
Changing our minds.
Adding “just one little thing.”
And apparently making tiny houses where SANTA POPS OUT THE DOOR. 🎅🏠😂

Seriously. Look at this little guy.

If handmade Christmas cards are on your list this year, consider this your friendly reminder to start making some card happen. ✂️

We have lots of our Christmas paper lines out now, and our Makerz Haven studio is ready when your kitchen table simply cannot handle the level of Christmas crafting you’re about to unleash.

🎄 Studio time: $5/day or $20/week.

Bring your supplies, spread out, meet some fellow paper people and get those Christmas cards started.

Because why buy a card in 30 seconds when you could lovingly spend four hours making one?

Paper people understand. 😂❤️

🎅 Calling all Lincoln card makers: come see the Christmas collections, grab your supplies and pull up a chair in the studio.

👇 CARD CHECK: Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

A) Obviously.
B) I bought the supplies. That counts.
C) Ask me again December 23. 😂

We have a serious case of creative side-questing happening at The Makerz Haven. 😂

You walk in thinking, “Maybe I’ll make a card today…”

Then somebody starts melting wax seals at the next table.

Someone else pulls out the watercolors.

There’s paper everywhere.

And suddenly you’re thinking…

👀 “Welllll… I HAVE always wanted to try that.”

Today’s studio adventures included melting pink + green wax together to create the prettiest swirled wax seal, while other makers were busy creating handmade cards nearby.

And THAT is exactly what we love about this space.

The Makerz Haven isn’t only about scrapbooking. We’re a place to play with paper, card making, wax seals, watercolors, mixed media and whatever creative rabbit hole you happen to fall into next.

Many of the supplies you see us playing with are available to shop right here in the store, too—because sometimes you really do need to touch it, try it and see it in action.

Want somewhere to work on YOUR projects?

✂️ Studio Time: $5/day or $20/week

Bring your supplies. Bring the project that’s been “marinating” since 2017. Bring absolutely no idea what you’re doing.

There’s always room at the craft table.

And speaking of projects… 👀

Today we also received an order for FOUR custom scrapbooks that will become Christmas gifts. 🎄❤️

Yep—we take custom scrapbook orders, too.

Because sometimes you want to preserve the memories…but you’d rather let us handle the cutting, cropping, arranging and inevitable adhesive situation. 😂

Whether you want to make it yourself, learn something new, shop for supplies, or have us create something special for you…

This is your Haven.

📍 Lincoln makers, come get creatively distracted with us.

Stop into The Makerz Haven, grab a $5 studio day pass, and see where the craft table takes you.

💬 YOUR TURN: If you had a whole day in our studio, what are you making first—cards, scrapbook pages, wax seals, watercolors, or something completely different? 👇

And if a custom scrapbook is on your Christmas gift list, stop in and talk with us about your project. 🎁
