❤️🍎 What a wonderful day at the Lincoln Apple Festival 🍏❤️

Thank you so much to everyone who stopped by our store and booth today! We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did. We are so thankful for everyone who came out, supported local businesses, and helped make today so special! 🫶🏻

As I looked around today, I couldn’t help but think about all the memories I’ve made with my family over the years at the Lincoln County Apple Festival. Long before we had a store and a booth of our own, this festival was a tradition we looked forward to year after year. Now, getting to be part of it in this new way makes it even more special. ❤️

I truly hope everyone realizes just how special this event is. I hope you cherish this festival, our little town, and the time you get to spend here with the people you love. Soak it all in, enjoy the day, and make the most of these moments. Because while we may think we’re just walking around a festival, shopping, eating, and visiting with friends, we’re making memories, carrying on traditions, and creating the very moments our children will one day look back on with their own families. 🥹🍎

These traditions matter. Our small businesses matter. Our community matters. And the love we have for our hometown is what keeps it going from one generation to the next.

I don’t know who was out there serving up those liver mush sandwiches early this morning, but I just have two things to say! 😂❤️

1. They were DELICIOUS! 😋
2. They were a lifesaver for some hungry, busy people this morning!

Between opening the store, setting up our tent, and getting everything ready for the Apple Festival, we were running on empty! Those sandwiches hit the spot and were so appreciated! 🍎🍏

We’re busy bees over here at Milk & Honey Mercantile, getting ready for one of our FAVORITE weekends of the year — the Lincoln County Apple Festival! 🍎🐝

The Apple Festival has been a special part of our lives since childhood. We have so many sweet memories of walking around, enjoying the festivities, and making memories with family. ❤️ Never in a million years could we have imagined that one day we’d have our very own General store open right here in Lincolnton AND a booth at the very festival we’ve loved for so long! 🥹🍎
