We’re only 2 weeks away from the start of our Fall classes in the Greenhouse!! September classes are available for registration, so hop on over to the website and save your spot!

Just a friendly reminder that Greenhouse workshops will have a much smaller class size than other events you might have attended with me elsewhere, so spaces will fill up quickly!

🌸 September’s classes are now open for registration!!!! (Link in bio)

🎨 Little Makers Club - these classes are geared towards kids in Kindergarten through 5th grade, where they’ll start learning the basics skills and techniques needed to work hands on with different materials. These classes are split into two different age groups so each child can gain the best experience.

⚓️ Creative Roots Club - We’re kicking it up a notch with the middle school and high school aged kids. Slightly longer classes with different tools, techniques and materials that are not used with the younger kids.

🌻 Adult workshops - for anyone 18 years and up. Absolutely no prior experience is necessary. We’re going to have a blast creating some of my favorite projects you’ve seen at other locations PLUS a TON of new workshops. Keep an eye on the times, as some are longer than the typical 2 hours.

✨Morning/Daytime classes will be on the schedule starting November (don’t forget I still work at the Farm 😁) and I’ll be popping in some random weekend ones between now and then!

I’m still playing around with what dates and times work best for the community, so your opinion matters to me! Let me know your thoughts and opinions!!

You guys ready to experience the most EPIC glass table ever?!?! Then come hang out with me all day Working Dog Winery and create something amazing!!

I’m trying something a little different this time around and hosting an open crafting day. You can come anytime you want and create whatever you want while hanging out anywhere in the winery (inside or outside)

🗓️ Date: Friday August 28th
⏰ Time: 2pm-8pm

✨HOW IT WORKS✨
- Head over to Working Dog’s website to grab you ticket(s)
- Pick your project(s) There will be 3 projects available that all center around glass and resin. Sea Glass Framed Art, Sea Glass Mosaic Trivets, and Crushed Glass Resin Sun Catchers. Each project requires a ticket and you can make as many projects as you want!
- Come to the winery on 8/28! I’ll be there from 2pm-8pm. You can come ANYTIME during those hours! I just ask that you check-in by 6pm the latest to give yourself enough time to create. If you plan on doing multiple projects, I also recommend giving yourself more time than just the normal 2 hours.

⭐️ I will have my FULL collection of crushed glass, sea glass, mirror glass, colored sand, beach sand, stones, shells, starfish and more!
⭐️ I am bringing my FULL binder of over 60 templates for the Framed Glass project - including Summer, Fall and Holiday designs. Choose one of those or design you own!
⭐️ Missed out on a Sun Catcher workshop? I will have every frame with me - including spring, summer, patriotic, fall, and a few cute everyday designs!
⭐️ ALL projects are sealed with a food grade resin. I’ll have boxes with me for you to safely transport your projects home.

I know I’ve been really quiet on social media lately, and while part of it was due to how busy I’ve been at the farm, a good part of it was due to a feeling of being stuck.

I rebranded to Urban Anchor Design Studio back in 2015 when I left my position managing and teaching at the pottery studio (anyone else remember Git’ Fired Up located at the Jersey Shore Art Center?!) At the time I needed a fresh start since I no longer had access to kilns and decided to dip back into my theatre roots -heading down the path of woodworking, murals and graphic design.

To say a lot has happened over the past 11 years is an understatement. Between multiple moves, becoming a single mom and a few career choices, I almost fully threw the towel in a few times. And while a good chuck of that time was not great - it brought me to where I am now in life and I couldn’t be happier.

With that said, I felt a total change was needed. What I’m doing now in life is nothing like what I was doing 11 years ago (and even before that) I needed a fresh look to go with this new era.

So I’m beyond excited to announce….

ANCHOR & BLOOM

While you’ll still see me on location at Working Dog Winery, Happiness is Homemade and Calgo Gardens, I have the opportunity to convert a small greenhouse at the farm into a permanent workshop space!

I’ll share more information throughout the summer, but I anticipate classes starting this September (once the weather cools down a bit)

I’m also going to be launching “The Little Makers Club” that’s geared just for kids! Many of you have asked me about workshops for kids and I really miss teaching the little ones, so I’m making it happen!

Some other things to get you guys excited…
- Workshops will be a mix of art and plant related projects
- I’ll be doing a TON of clay and ceramic classes for both kids and adults
- I’ll be teaching some workshops that are more detail oriented, will have longer class times, and possibly multiple sessions. (Anyone else want to make a 4 foot mosaic garden pole with me?!?)
- Yes, Fused Glass Classes and my pottery wheels will most likely be making an permanent appearance in the greenhouse.

Bees and butterflies and flowers oh my!

✨NEW PROJECT ALERT✨

You guys asked for more mosaics, and I’m beyond excited to get back in my wheelhouse and add this project to my mosaic collection!

Join me at Working Dog Winery to learn how to make Turkish Mosaic Candle Holders.

If you think my stained glass collection was epic before… just you wait!! I’ll have stained glass pre-cut, along with all the various glass cutting tools incase you want to learn how to cut it yourself! Glass colors in every hue of the rainbow will be available, along with multiple design templates to help you create the perfect masterpieces!

I know the farm has been taking up most of my time lately (come say hi!!) but I seriously can’t wait to create with everyone again!!
