Since I began participating in art shows in 2020, I've watched my work evolve and grow in ways I never imagined. Over the years, I would attend high-end juried art shows and admire the talented artists exhibiting there, hoping that one day my work would be good enough to join them.
This weekend, I'm proud to say I've reached one of my goals.
I will be exhibiting at the Rose Squared 37th Annual Fine Art Show at Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, NJ, on June 20–21 (GPS Address: 473 Watchung Ave, Bloomfield, NJ). Being accepted into this juried show feels like a meaningful milestone in my artistic journey.
Thankfully, I had the day off today for Juneteenth, which gave me the opportunity to set up in advance. After carefully planning a digital layout for my booth and, with the help of my sister, bringing it all to life, everything came together beautifully. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
I'm feeling grateful, proud, and incredibly excited for the weekend ahead. Sometimes it's important to pause and appreciate how far you've come.
