Art is for gifting. Art is for making others smile. Art is for sharing of yourself with others and making those one of a kind gifts. And, homemade gifts don't need to be perfect, they just need to come from the heart. ❤️

These are some of the thoughts I've been pondering as I have shifted my mind set this calendar year. Since 2020 I have been thinking "What can I make that will make money?", and "What can I make that other people will like?". While I still take orders here and there, my art focus has shifted from money and profit focused to how I can make those around me smile, and what I can make for my home, and for myself! I realized a couple weeks ago that I had never surprised my boys with any of my art. I have been in years past so busy making art for others that I haven't been able to make them anything, and I also really haven't made much for myself either. So I decided to surprise the boys with a homemade Bluey ornament that I made just for them. They love it. ❤️ It got me to thinking of how fulfilling homemade gifts truly are.. and how it is truly a joy to work with my hands. This Bluey ornament isn't my crowning piece of work, and I did not make it in hopes that it will somehow generate money, or with any pressure on myself. I made it just to gift.. just to make my boys smile. And it did just that.

This Christmas, don't break the bank. Make some gifts and watch those you love appreciate whatever it is you poured your heart into. Art is about gifting. It is about love. And it's best shared with those you love. ❤️

I still make them. ❤️ I've gotten more into painting in the last year or so, but mosaics are what got me into making and selling art as a side gig. They will always have a special place in my heart. 😊
I sure am digging this more modern pattern, and I can't wait for it to arrive with its owner soon. It is 2'x2', and I really like the double frame- it just adds to the interest. You can't really see it in these photos but trust me, it's there.

Kitty cat ornament is finished 👌 This sweet kitty was actually my first cat to paint in ornament form! I was captivated by the eyes... animal eyes have so much depth and interest if you can catch them still enough to take it in! 😆 Love our furry friends, and love the opportunity to put them into being so they can be hung on your Christmas tree.

CHRISTMAS CUSTOMS!! After a long, hard summer (which included a miscarriage 😔, a concussion, and a very dry season for me artistically), I am getting myself revved up for Christmas! I am only allowing myself a maximum of 8 projects between now and Christmas (and if yall surprise me with larger orders, it will be less than that!). I am offering the following for orders for Christmas- pet ornaments ($55 each), nature mosaics (starting at $85), name signs (starting at $125) and wood pet portraits (starting at $150).

Pet ornaments are perfect for your friends and family who have a furry friend or who have lost one. I don't just do dogs, I do cats and horses too (or bunnies, or any other pet!).

Nature mosaics are for the nature lovers out there. If your friend or family member has a favorite spot they love to hike, or a place they love to vacation, a nature mosaic would be the way to go (see first photo above).

Name signs- best for kids rooms!! I can put in your favorite colors and add themes to make it special for them.

Pet portraits. This is for your friends who maybe lost a favorite pet and they want to have them on display year round! I am flexible on sizing.

I made a jewelry hanger/holder! This could double also as a cooking utensil hanger, or key and leash hanger by your door. I haven't made anything in a triangle shape before and I made this one a while ago. Since it was just sitting around, I thought I'd actually take the time to turn it into something!
Here are a couple AI enhanced photos with it too. While I honestly enjoy all the options AI brings to the table, I will always post a real life photo for yall to see.
