This past weekend, I was able to process and ship over 10 wholesale orders and 6 online orders, plus work on restocking local boutiques.

Waking up early and staying up late to complete these orders, I don't take this lightly. I am genuinely blessed with Simply Happy and every single ounce of support I receive.

As the busy season approaches, shipping times may be delayed slightly, but please know that it is because I am dedicated to quality and that most items are "made to order", meaning they are fresh and new when they get to you!

So the other day, my Mom and I were out shopping, and she found a candle fragrance that she absolutely loved.

And like.....I can't be beat by a competitor to my own mother.....

Thus, our newest creation! A candle inspired by my Mom and her serious love for coffee.

Fragrance Notes:
Top: Creamy Caramel, Coconut Milk
Middle: Coffee Beans, Cocoa Powder, Cinnamon, Clove, Nutmeg
Base: Sweet Vanilla

It's a delicious caramel macchiato in a jar.

When I was younger, I figured success meant having everything new. New car, new kitchen, new everything. Funny how I got older and started chasing the opposite.

Give me the hand-me-down dresser with the drawer that sticks.
The farmhouse table with scratches from a hundred family dinners.
Cast iron that's older than I am.
Quilts, mismatched mugs, and Saturday garage sale finds.
Bread from scratch.
Thrift store wins.
Muddy boots by the door.
Homeschool books stacked next to somebody's breakfast dishes.
A kitchen that's loud from sunup to bedtime.

I used to believe a good life meant easier, shinier and more convenient.

Now I just want the real stuff.

The garden. The slow mornings. The food we made ourselves. The things in our home that came from somebody, somewhere, with a story attached.

I'm not trying to build a life that looks impressive. I'm trying to build one that feels full.

That's really why I started Simply Happy. I wanted to put something on my family's skin and in our home that was as simple as the rest of our life, so I made it the way people used to, with tallow from a Minnesota farm and ingredients I'd be happy to hand my kids. Small batches. Made at home in Minnesota.

I think a lot of us are tired of being told more is better.

Maybe the old way was the right way all along.
