Today’s install was a special one—a sweet get-ready space for a favorite client turned friend, designed for her daughter to host and make memories with her friends.

While sourcing decor, I stumbled across a beautiful print of someone who has always held a special place in my heart: Dolly Parton

Growing up, most of my clothes came from thrift stores. Reading Dolly’s book Coat of Many Colors as a kid, I felt an instant connection to her. I remember being so moved by how proud she was of her coat, even when other children were mean to her.
Hanging her picture in this room today felt bittersweet, but so right. Dolly lived her life wrapped in grace, kindness, and unwavering confidence—a reminder that no matter how unfair the world feels, there are good people out there, and real beauty starts on the inside.

To every young girl: Wear your heart with pride, treat others with love, and never let anyone make you feel small for being exactly who you are.

RIP Dolly. 🕊️
