That’s right! Our founder, Mighty Max, is 102 years old this weekend! Max and Marie Hadfield started Trend Interiors in 1960. While we’ve been missing beautiful Marie since October 2025, we’re so happy to celebrate an amazing 102 years with Max!

Fun fact, Max served in WWII! Special thanks to all our service members! Let us know if you know any other WWII veterans in Cache Valley in the comments.

“Can you rework my previous draperies for my new house?” YES!! A little creativity, bouncing ideas around, and some workroom magic to take some loved fabrics from one home to a new life in a new home to give us this Before & After in a bay window.

The new home owner wanted to dress up the existing pleated drapes with her printed sheer, solid sheer, and coordinating print that she loved. We designed an upholstered cornice overlaid with the printed sheer swags and cascades, trimmed with the accent sheer. Adding a bit of gimp trim to finish off the bottom edge of the cornice, custom fit to the bay shape, the window is now finished off with a pretty look. All done in our workroom right here.
