Ok… I need some feedback! LMK please before I take a plunge! It’s a long post but hear me out!
When it comes to shirts everyone has a wide variety of style and size! I’m currently limited on my sublimation t shirt business bc I can only print on certain fabric and certain colors and my printer only prints so big in size, restricting me to print larger than a x-large! If I do.. I have to piece the image together before pressing!
Why?!
Sublimation is a transparent image that is heated and infused into the shirt! This is great bc it’s not like heat transfer vinyl that will in time peel and sublimation will not!
That being said- I can’t sublimate on dark colors and for some reason on 100% cotton the ink doesn’t absorb so I’m restricted to certain fabrics!
Long story short: there is a solution but I need your feedback to take the pudge and buy the press or say nah I’m wasting my money!
🔊DTF printing!!!! Direct to film not the other DTF, don’t make this post weird! Bahaha
Direct to film is a digital print that is cured in an oven and then pressed onto the shirt! ANY shirt! That means any color, and fabric, and item you want!! The cost would clearly be more expensive bc the upkeep/maintance is expensive BUT you will in return get a more vibrate look that will not only be infused into your item but will not peel!!
Thank you for reading and understanding what all goes into making a shirt you’re asking of me! I hate turning ppl away when asked to make a shirt bc of the retrictions I’m currently facing!
Soo… my questions for you are: 📢⤵️
Would you buy a shirt if I got this DTF machine?! And would the upcharge for a shirt be worth it?!
I currently ordered some DTF prints from another crafter to show you the difference! Once I get the transfers I’ll make another post!! 😍🥰
Thanks again for reading and please share!!
