At Wax Crescent, every candle begins with intention - an idea, a feeling, a memory that deserves to be honored through scent and storytelling.

These photos capture one of my favorite parts of what I do: the quiet, hands-on process of pouring each candle by hand in our Longmont studio. The swirl of the wax, the steady pour, the scent that fills the room - it’s more than production; it’s a ritual. A practice in slowing down and creating with care.

While scaling up and automating might make things faster, I’ve always believed that the artistry - the human touch - is what makes each Wax Crescent candle truly special. Each one is shaped by hand, guided by intention, and made with clean, sustainable ingredients that feel good to burn in your space.

This work connects me back to why I started in the first place: to create something meaningful, to share stories through scent, and to remind us all to pause and honor our light.
