This shade is called the talon, and it has a uno fitting that threads onto the socket of a bridge lamp. Bridge lamps are wonderful lamps as they don’t require a lot of space or a table and can work in many different rooms of a home or office. I designed this shade with a vintage Italian drape(the blue printed fabric), and an iridescent silk burnout fabric. The copper/gold burnout is the top layer, with a gold dupioni silk as the midlining. The lining is in a cream silk charmeuse. Both the lining and midlining help give the lampshade more depth and highlight the outer fabrics when the lamp is lit. The lampshade has three different beaded fringes in blues, golds, and taupe, and copper. The shade has a heavy blue and cream textured trim on the smaller panels with the ribbon trim as an overlay, showing just a hint of the blue trim. I am displaying this shade on a signed Rembrandt bridge lamp with a seahorse motif which coordinates well with the ocean blue tone of the vintage Italian drape fabric. Both the lamp and shade are sold separately.

I am now designing a lampshade with a uno fitting that works on a threaded socket for a bridge lamp. This shade will be for sale soon, and am looking at fabrics and beads. Suggestions for colors you would want me to choose for your home?? I always enjoy suggestions for what customers would like for their next lampshade.
