Jalapeño Cheddar Stuffed Burgers: 🍔
Spicy and Cheesy Jalapeño Cheddar Burgers for the Ultimate Grilling Experience
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef (80/20)
1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 jalapeños, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
4 burger buns
Lettuce, tomato, and additional jalapeños for topping
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped jalapeños, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent puffing during cooking.
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the burgers and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, you can add extra cheddar cheese on top of the patties and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
Remove the burgers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve on burger buns with lettuce, tomato, and additional jalapeños if desired.
