In honour of Beaucroft Watch Co. releasing their outrageous new PUNK iteration of the Arc, I thought I’d break out the G&T (it is summer after all) to celebrate the new release.

Just take a look at how slim on the wrist this piece is, something that Beaucroft does really well is rounding the edges and allowing that slim profile to really shine.

It’s very difficult to make a striking design seem simple (and I can assure you, it’s not easy), which is a testament to the skills of Matt & Karim. That stepped dial really does create its own language and allow for new iterations to be released while keeping the feel of a Beaucroft.

First the Rebel Black, and now the new Arc “Punk”. It’s a shocking, but welcome detour for the brand who have somehow managed to maintain that refinement while giving their customers a hell of a statement piece.

Theres definitely something bubbling in the blood of those guys at Cambridge. Rebels, Punks…. What next?

This week we are about to be blessed with another dose of beautiful hot summer weather in the UK (depending on your perspective) and what better companion that a delicious refreshing G&T in the gleaming London City.

More specifically the G&T, paired here with the perfectly complimentary “Contour” CTF strap with our latest SpringLock “Ridge” clasp.

Beaucroft Watches continue to impress with cool, classy, contemporary designs and I simply love how well they pair with Under The Cuff CTF straps. This Lagoon Green colourway really picks out that gorgeous dark green seconds hand on the watch.

There were loads of brilliant suggestions… some admittedly more usable than others 😂 but after much debate, one name stood out from the crowd.

It’s Flieger Friday and I’ve got a special piece on loan which I am loving right now (thanks to the always charming ) being a 20mm lug width I immediately threw it onto one of our latest Contour straps and a lesser used colourway here, which I think absolutely rocks this neo-vintage IWC UTC Flieger.
Yes yes, I know it’s technically a TZC (Timezoner) but you won’t begrudge me bending the alliterative rules for the opportunity to have a UTC on UTC.

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Swatch x AP might be far more experimental than anyone expected.

The teasers don’t feel like a conventional watch launch:
• 8 radial loops
• “ROYAL POP” typography
• lanyard-like forms
• modular “CLAC” audio

What if this isn’t a wristwatch at all?

Swatch has explored pendant-style watches before.
AP has already created Royal Oak pocket watches.

So could this be a modular Royal Oak-inspired pop object designed to hang from a lanyard or belt loop?

Honestly… that would make perfect sense.

So the previous image lacked contrast you said, so I’ve created a tonal shift in the dial to a deep, dark, desaturated green. Same “seafoam” direction but adding clarity and much more in keeping with a possible Rolex catalogue item. I have to say I think these greens really compliment the temperature of the RLX Titanium itself.

Thoughts on this revamp?
