Freshly Restored, Classically Danish set of 6 Mid-Century “Eva” Dining Chairs by Niels Koefoed for Koefoeds Hornslet, Made in Denmark Circa 1960s. These fabulous chairs embody the subtle elegance of Danish modernism, balancing sculptural precision, time defying durability, and a titanium-like lightness in the build. Their slender, A-frame backs with a trio of vertical slats rise in a graceful taper with an ergonomic bend that mimics the seated spine. The teak frames are lean yet warm, with soft, rounded edges that reveal a maker who understood that craftsmanship is as much about touch as it is about form. Slightly splayed legs give the chairs a poised, forward-leaning stance with nimble, mid-rise proportions. The plush pebble seat has been newly upholstered in an earthy green Bouclé that offers a gentle hush of color and a tactile counterpoint to the luminous grain of the wood.
