Portugal (Part 2!) - Parts & bits of Sintra that inspired me.

Vibrant colors, whimsical tiles…a touch of this & a tad of that, everything goes!

I spent the most amount of time studying the blue building façade with the sea monster - How do you mix azure & pink floral tiles, stone veneer, coral, shell, grapevine… and still achieve coherence? It works & what’s more, it holds my interest.

Thank You everyone who joined Saturday’s “Residential Home Remodeling” seminar!

I LOVE teaching these seminars & it was great to see so many familiar faces, as well as A LOT of new ones!

We capped the class at 450 enrollees & soon filled the waitlist as well. We’re grateful for such massive interest that the class filled before we could even promote it. 🙌

If you missed it Live, all enrollees have access to the recording for up to 1 month.

& BIG NEWS: for everyone that’s requested the “Residential Remodeling” full course, I’ll be teaching it starting this winter quarter.

Enrollment has opened today & the class is filling up! Visit the UCLAX website, or link in my bio to register, course REG #406426.

Portugal (Part 1): Porto

Gothic cloisters & azulejos tiles, Neoclassical, Baroque, Art Nouveau… all in one city. Old & new, perfect & imperfect in harmony. Terracotta rooftops stacked on top of each other, vibrant tiles, laundry lines, and a rooftop terrace we didn’t want to leave.

A few iPhone photos of the elegant master bathroom remodeling project we photographed today.

I adore the timeless color palette, surface materials, the quality of the finishes…

& Most of all, such a joy helping a lovely client achieve her dream space! We were inspired by her love for all things Parisian and feminine. ✨
