This living room was a very narrow space. We had to be creative with the use of an existing sofa and figured out a configuration that could face two sofas into a conversational pit and a TV stand on wheels that can be moved around and was not a permanent fixture in this space.

Half the lower cabinets remained so the boxes were reused on those. I laid out all the new cabinetry in 3D with exact measurments to get the new design executed. Customized a new door design. K***s and handles from Rejuvenation. Added a spice rack oull out and customized pantry with pull out trays. Also added a new hood and upgraded stove/oven. Soft close hinges and drawer slides as well as new pocelain countertop and cement backsplash tile complete this quick and cost effective kitchen remodel. And guess whats the best part? Not only is it super cute and design forward/timeless, I was able to get this condo rented out quickly and for more money than the neighbors that had the builder grade kitchen and bathrooms in my HOA. Hiring a good designer will be the best investment you can make to get a better ROI.

Why do these images resonate with me? As there are trends with interior design I like to point them out as oftentimes the masses dont like whats new and mass adaptation happens about a year or two after the designers start these trends. Darker woods have been replacing the white oak that used to be the go to for past couple years and Iā€™m drawn to saturated colors and see how warm and rich this color palette feels in a home. Browns, reds, corals, beigeā€¦ warmer colors are the new grounding neutral. What are your thoughts?

I came accross this mural wallpaper many years ago and always found it to be whimsical and elegant.
