Uomo Gelato has taken to the skies with Gulfstream, bringing our four signature flavors aboard the private fleet.

Surreal seeing our Italian-American classics climb those stairs this morning for their maiden voyage.

Just say Whoa-Mo. Now at cruising altitude. 🍨✈️

THAI TEA, ITALIAN STYLE.

A Thai classic turned LA icon—and an instant Uomo classic. This beloved drink inspired us to steep loose-leaf Thai tea into our Sicilian Sweet Cream, made with organic milk and cream from Sonoma County. Bold black tea, warm spice, and vanilla spun into velvety golden gelato. One spoonful will have you weaving through Night Markets any time of day.

Now available by the pint at W**e + Eggs Atwater in Atwater Village and Olive W**e and Liquor of Burbank in Burbank. We’re thrilled to be in such delicious company on their shelves. 🧡

Peach season, take a bow. 🍑🌿

Our head gelato maker Nick’s favorite way to serve Sweet Milk: ripe peaches macerated until juicy and syrupy, finished with fresh mint snipped straight from his garden.

It’s peaches and cream—brightened up, dressed up, but every bit as familiar.

Summer may be winding down, but in Los Angeles, everything deserves an encore.

Nearly 10 years ago, somewhere between casting by day and making gelato by night, unexpected reactions took on a life of their own. I never imagined those late-night batches would one day become Uomo — an accidental passion turned LA original.

That new pickup home is Picnic Hollywood, in the heart of Melrose Hill — one of LA’s most in-the-know pockets, just beyond Larchmont and sharing a neighborhood with the kind of neighbors we always hoped to have: Goop Kitchen, Little Fish, Bar Etoile and Osteria La Buca.

Come by 615 N Western Ave anytime from 9:30am–12:30am, 7 nights a week and grab your pints on the fly. 🍨
