It was a hectic beginning of the week for me with appointments and city traffic! Remember me questioning the doctors opinion on my sons broken arm? Well I am now seeing the progress. Not too much in the front part but the back of his arm.... you can really see the progress there. From the back the bone has aligned, there is new bone growth that is holding together. The front, there is new bone growth that she was able to show me from a gap in previous xrays that are now showing filled in. As of now, he is no longer in a brace. She told him to take it easy but to start moving his arm around, exercising it, and that the mobility will help the healing process. He was able to lift his arm above his head and able to pick up small light things. Also, they showed me a book of xrays on kids from ages 3-13 with exact breaks like his and by the 6-7 month mark you cant even tell the arm was broken. We are in month 2 so we are hopeful for that full recovery! 🙏 He is just looking forward to Halloween now 😆 he was so worried about what he would do for Halloween.
