My Story
Hello. My name is Jay Lane.
I got started in woodworking in 2005 when I wanted to build a poker table for myself because I couldn’t find anything in local stores.
I had no tools or woodworking experience but I found some plans online (pre-YouTube) and used my Uncle’s garage and tools. Since then, I’ve acquired my own garage full of tools and have completed 100’s of projects including dozens of poker tables, furniture, shelves, custom wood signs, home decor and more.
In January 2019, I bought a Dewalt scroll saw and started getting into creating wood art for others. Since then, it’s grown into part-time passion and hobby. You can see my full project gallery on my website at MadeByJayLane.com.
