So today I learned something new….
I went out to the coop this morning and my ducks had laid a TINY egg. I thought… what in the quail hell is this!? lol
Apparently sometimes a duck or chicken can lay a “fairy” egg. Which is a small yolk less egg produced usually by a younger hen. HA! Who knew? 🤷‍♀️
p.s. the egg on the right is a “regular” sized duck egg.. 🤭

Do you know the difference between a Duck and a Chicken egg? Here at Organic Joy 🍃 we use Duck eggs in the majority of our baked goods. This makes the taste richer! Also, did you know that Duck eggs have a different protein than Chicken eggs? If you are allergic to eggs you MIGHT be able to eat Duck eggs! 😉
