My name is Caitlin and I picked up candle making during the pandemic as something extra to do to pass the time. Over the past couple years keeping my family healthy has become very important to me. There are so many bad chemicals out there that aren’t regulated and that we are unknowingly exposed to everyday inside and outside our homes. I currently use 100% pure soy wax which is free from any add
itives or chemicals. All my candle scents are free of phthalates (known to cause cancer) and almost all are free of known harmful chemicals. Many of my scents contain essential oils as part of their fragrance blends. My wicks are cotton and free of any metals. Because I use soy wax that is free of additives, it isn't always as "pretty" as larger candle company wax. Soy wax is ever evolving especially when it is exposed to changes in temperature. You many see some soy crystals form. That is perfectly normal and will not impact the candles performance... I like to call it "candle character." My candles can be found at the following shops:
