My latest furniture flip! I envisioned mint green and pastel floral when I saw this at a garage sale. Lots of repair was required on the table top, big holes to fill and lumps to sand down. If anyone’s interested this 5 piece set: vanity, chair, nightstand, mirror, and wall caddy is up for sale. Loved working on this and it’s just so pretty!! I’m happy with this transformation 💚❤️💜💖🧡

Ok I’m happy with the turn out of my first paid commission work. I have a couple more projects to work on over the next week which I’m excited about!

Design tip- when decorating choose pieces in threes. 3 items in different textures and sizes and shapes. Avoid same shapes and sizes together. Stay in the color scheme. Adding greenery to a shelf or table always brightens up the place. When using colors, 3 items of the same color spread out in the room. I stick to 3 main colors in a room, of which one color should ‘pop’. @ Manalapan, New Jersey

Vintage brass and ceramic hardware from an older dresser. I take old dressers and desks and other pieces of furniture and update them with modern hardware and paint. I have quite a few of these vintage pulls that are gorgeous and heavy, solid metal. Lmk if interested!

I’m updating my entryway. DIY farmhouse rustic wood paneled walls and handmade distressed wood and patina k***s for coat and key hooks. I love the way this has turned out, just have to hang them. They’re quite heavy! Do you need something custom made? Would you like a room makeover?

Another piece I’m working on is this mid century modern nightstand. I’m thinking of doing a two toned oyster and walnut wood finish on this with black hardware. I’ll post the after pics when I get it done. Do you have furniture in your home that you’d like to update and don’t want to toss out?
