You will find that most artists stick to drawing females and young boys because they don't have as much detail in the skin and have no facial hair but....for those that tend to like the challenge, like myself, thick eyebrows and beards can be difficult. ***Here is a short video to show you a trick that I, and many artists, like to use to layer hair. It is simply a piece of tape that has a lot of the adhesive worn off.
*** Simply rub the tape on your clothing so that there is just enough stickiness left to pull the graphite from the paper and use a sharp pencil.
